Abstract
Rosemary Lowe-McConnell was interviewed in her home Streatwick at Streat near Hassocks, Sussex, in the southern English countryside on 15 February 1993 after we had had a lively lunch with Barton Worthington and his wife, who live nearby. The interview took place amidst piles of papers, books and African and South American memorabilia, and was interrupted by teas and cakes and the telephone. Ro talks like she lives -bubbling over with enthusiasm and energy and full of exclamation marks!! I trust that this discussion provides some insights into her colourful and eventful life.
