Thermochemical Hydrogen Production; Ocean Raft System for Hydrogen Energy

  • Chapter
Hydrogen Energy System

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSE,volume 295))

Abstract

Thermodynamics of water-splitting is considered and thermochemical water-splitting method is reviewed . The thermal efficiency and the concrete thermochemical cycles are introduced. Feasibility study on the ocean raft systems for large scale hydrogen production using tropical solar heat and solar photons is discussed.
