Abstract

In the first part in the paper, we review different WDM integrated optics devices: in lithium niobate, on glass, on silicon or InP subtrates. It is shown that the main problem to be solved, in most of the cases, is the wavelength and transmission sensitivity to polarisation. In the second part, after an analysis of the accuracy necessary for the wavelength measurements of these devices, we review some light sources and absorption lines useful for their wavelength calibration.
