Abstract

More cases of atypical retinoblastomas are documented, primarilycharacterized by the lack of calcifications. We presented our first case in 1984,a diffusely infiltrating form of retinoblastoma with dense vitreous opacities.Recently two other forms came to our attention. The first one looked like acomplete retinal detachment. The other appeared as a cauliflower solidmass with a pedunculate distal part that oscillated around its stalk with eyemovements. All these cases were detected in children older than 5 years.
