Abstract
In the previous chapters it has been emphasized that the ability of the muscle to respond to the transmitter is important for the establishment of connections between developing nerve and muscle. Therefore the mechanisms that regulate chemosensitivity in the developing muscle will be considered in relation to the development of the neuromuscular junction.
