Dermatology

Abstract

Tropical infections are rarely seen in the United Kingdom, but because of the immigrant population and the increasing number of people travelling abroad, both on business and on holiday, it has become important to acquire a greater awareness of at least some of the commoner tropical dermatoses such as leprosy, yaws, and leishmaniasis.
