Abstract
Some time ago I had the occasion to review a study by the young Polish scholar, Aleksy Dębnicki, entitled Chu shu chi nien — A Note on the Proper Division into Periods of Ancient Chinese History published in Rocznik Orientalistyczny XIX, Warszawa 1954.1 Evidently this study, published in 1954, was no more than an extract from the work which is the subject of the present review and which gives the results of A. D ę b n i c k i ’ s research as an integrated whole.
A review of Aleksy Dębnicki, The Chu-shu-chi-nien as a Source to the Social History of Ancient China, Warszawa 1956.
