Abstract
All the previous acts or procedures in Part One are involved in moral judgment, but it is principally the next preceding acts under enactment (4.0), that is, commitment, ordainment, and the celebration of values, that set the stage for it. Matters which are of the greatest moment to us are the subject of commitments pledging us to maintain a certain loyalty, whatever contrary attractions may arise. In judgment we seek to exact obedience of ourselves or others to just these commitments.
