The literature on trisomy G mosaicism reviewed in the preceding chapter does not clarify the influence on phenotypical characteristics of the extra G chromosome in a percentage of the cells. A group of trisomy G/normal mosaic patients was therefore studied, together with a group of trisomic patients and a group of normal controls, to collect more information about this relationship. Special attention was given to the occurrence of the phenotypical characteristics of Down’s syndrome patients. The investigations included the following subjects.
