Abstract
Modern methods of production call for a highly organized labour force, which is not wholly composed of skilled labour, but more a problem of harnessing unskilled labour to enable a continuous, smooth, mechanical operation to produce a satisfactory standard of the goods we require to market. Method study is therefore a means of assessing the number of persons required for a particular work, in the first place, and secondly a means of individual job assessment in relation to the work content.
