Abstract
Children with learning and/or behavioural difficulties are often described as suffering from ‘minimal brain damage’ or better, from ‘minor brain dysfunction’. Moreover, they are often said to be born after complications in pregnancy and/or delivery, which may have damaged their nervous system.
