Abstract
The concept of science is a typically ambiguous concept. Likewise the attribute ‘scientific’ can be applied to quite heterogeneous, albeit more or less connected phenomena. For these reasons it seems expedient to clarify certain fundamental aspects of the concept of ‘science’.
