The natural environment must be protected from the ravages of man and one very important aspect of environmental concern is water quality Instrumentation has a major role to fulfill in maintaining and improving our water sources A sample of polluted water is a very complex mixture of chemical and biological constituents, and measurement parameters must be chosen on the basis of determinations needed to characterize the water body
