Abstract

The measuring tasks are accounted for. They are emission controls of sulphur dioxide and nitric oxides, emission measurements on motor vehicles, immission control by measuring stations and mobile measuring stations as well as ambient air control. Measuring methods like infrared analysis, flame ionization detection, and electro-chemical methods are briefly discussed with practical examples.
