Air Pollution Measuring Networks with Remotely Controlled SO2 Monitors

Abstract

In October 1969 a network system was put into operation in the Rijnmond area near to Rotterdam in order to measure the air pollution — especially SO2. The results have been successful, indeed. A nation-wide network in the Netherlands is now being installed. The system principles and advantages are discussed.
