Abstract

The petroleum refining capacity in Sweden will probably increase from some 13 million tons of crude oil in 1970 to an annual capacity of about 40 million tons at the end of the seventies. A committee formed with members from the Swedish Petroleum-Refining Industry and the Environmental Protection Board has investigated the situation of pollutants and different abatement methods.
