Abstract

manschot is the only person who has performed extensive histopathological studies of eyes fitted with an iris clip lens or an iridocapsular lens (manschot, 1972, 1974). He has been kind enough to provide the author with additional information concerning his histological findings in 9 cases:

post-mortem: 6 eyes fitted with an iris clip lens.

2 eyes fitted with an iridocapsular lens.

post-operative: 1 eye fitted with an iridocapsular lens.
