Abstract

The RGU system was introduced by Becker [60] in 1946, well before the UBV system. However, it has been mainly used photographically and applied to stellar statistics research. The passbands are defined as follows:

U Filter Schott UG2 ( 2mm) + Agfa Astro

G Filter Schott GG5 (2mm) + Agfa Astro

R Filter Schott RG1( 2mm) + Agfa Isopan
