The Dependence of Atmospheric Temperature on the Concentration of Carbon Dioxide

  • Chapter

Abstract

Numerical computations using a radiative, convective equilibrium model of the atmosphere predict an increase of 0.8°C in temperature of the Earth’s surface by the end of this century, based on the anticipated increase in CO2.
