Abstract
In this paper I advance a theory that seeks to explain the learning process of a natural language.1 The process is divided into three stages, but I shall deal here with only two of them. Due to lack of space, it will generally not be possible to enter into details and therefore only the central ideas will be expounded. Although only part of the learning process is considered, it will nevertheless be possible to deal with one of the most important aspects of human language, namely its creativity.
