Abstract
It is planned to study equatorial F-region plasma instabilities using rockets and Spacelab, including near-simultaneous measurements of the horizontal and vertical variations of the parameters relevant to the generation of electron-density irregularities in the F-region. The horizontal parameters can be measured using Spacelab and the vertical parameters using rockets at Thumba. Some of the parameters to be measured by Langmuir Probe using Spacelab were discussed during this presentation.
