Abstract

The “Verrucano” province includes the Alps as well as the northern to central Apennines. Their Permian sediments have been discussed at the congress in Pisa 1965 and that in Vienna 1969. The results have been published in the “Atti del Symposium sul Verrucano”, Pisa 1966, and in the “Verhandlungen der Geologischen Bundesanstalt”, Vienna 1972, Vol. 1.
