Abstract

It is well known that oxygen plays an important role in the retinal metabolism. There have been many reports concerning this, (Granit, 1947; Noell, 1952; Brown, 1957; Tazawa & Seaman, 1972); only a few reported upon the quantitative relationship between the oxygen supply, oxygen consumption in the eye and the ERG wave form (Bauereisen, 1958; Brno, 1966).
