Abstract
Townsend (1935: 110, 216) erected the tribe Cephenemyiini for the genus Cephenemyia Latreille. Grunin (1956, 1957, 1966) gave it subfamily rank and discussed in great detail the morphology, biology, and economic aspects of the group. I am here proposing a subdivision of the Cephenemyiinae into tribes, which can be recognized by the following keys.
