Abstract

In the last chapter we started our discussion by claiming that explanations can fruitfully be viewed from the point of view of querying and answering. Explanations can thus be understood as partial or complete answers to appropriate queries (especially why-queries). It is now appropriate to return to this view and to clarify it in some more detail.
