Collectivistic Two-Agent Types

Abstract

The characteristic feature of the system of two-agent types presented in Chapter 4 was that the types R1, …, R35 were individualistic. Each statement
$$\left\langle {p,q,\left. F \right\rangle \in R} \right.$$
(where R∈{R1, …, R35}) is equivalent to the conjunction of a statement
$$\left\langle {p,F} \right\rangle \in T$$
which describes individually p’s legal position with respect to F, and a statement
$$\left\langle {q,F} \right\rangle \in T'$$
individually describing q’s legal position with respect to F (where T, T′∈{Tl, …, T7}). This chapter will be concerned with another system of two-agent types—a system of collectivistic types.
