Abstract
The present paper is intended to briefly outline an approach to the analysis of methods based on some concepts and procedures which have been discussed in a more elaborate study on the logic of imperatives and norms. For certain details of the formal apparatus (e.g. definitions, theorems, proofs) I refer to my research report, which is available in a German version (Heitsch: 1973).
