Abstract

It is a very well known fact that to date medical science is missing easy and subjective techniques of measuring exact blood loss, both in animal and human clinical research. Thus the evaluation of any haemostatic agent is very difficult to assess, especially in some surgical procedures during which the blood loss is ex-equo minimal. In this present form, the review appears to deny the prophylactic or therapeutic usefulness of Premarin® Parenteral in the different fields of surgery. This is, however, based only on an incomplete bibliography related to this subject.
