Abstract
Surface sediment samples collected in the years 1996 and 1999 from 7 sites of the south west part of the Black Sea around Istanbul area have been analyzed. Neutron activation analysis and activation autoradiography were used for investigation of impurity content and impurity distribution in the samples. Analytical results obtained are given and compared with those on other marine sediment samples.
