Abstract
An update of the dynamic Jahn-Teller (DJT) vibronic mechanism for high-Tc superconductivity, first proposed by the author in 1983 and applied to cuprates in 1987, was presented along with recent work on technologically important vibronic effects in pentagonal dodecahedral water “buckyball” nanoclusters.
