Abstract

Attention is drawn to the possibility of transition of an expanding plasma cloud into the state with extremely high Coulomb’s coupling. Conditions for such transition are studied, and properties of the resulting strongly-coupled plasma (particularly, the effective concentration of free-charge carriers) are briefly outlined.
