Abstract

This paper provides a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the international space launch services industry with particular emphasis on forecasts of future demand and supply for space transportation services through the year 2010. Futron will provide numerical indicators as well as analyses to demonstrate the drivers and effects associated with the launch services industry. Futron Corporation has recently completed a number of large research products on the underlying demand for satellite and launch vehicle services. A detailed look into some of Futron s findings about the key drivers for growth in launch vehicle services and about possible future oversupply, are given.
