Abstract
Interstellar gas and dust exhibit clumpy and filamentary structure which is believed to be caused by turbulence. To numerically study turbulent physical processes involved in the creation of this structure, we have developed and used a parallelized 3D Lattice Boltzmann code. The main result of the simulations is that complex structure is seen only at the transition between laminar and fully turbulent flow regimes.
