Abstract
We present a numerical simulation on the gravitational collapse of the interstellar gas in which the Alfvén wave propagates with large amplitude. The Alfvén wave has an effective pressure and acts against the gravity. We also present our numerical scheme to solve the ideal magneto-hydrodynamical equations. It follows the propagation of the Alfvén wave with much smaller numerical attenuation than previous schemes.
