Migration of Ti and Fe from Framework to Extraframework Positions in Zeolitic Materials: Spectroscopic Studies

Abstract

Among the numerous zeolitic systems containing heteroatoms, there are selected in this article only those with MFI structure. The main reasons of this choice are twice: i) in the zeolitic family with MFI structure two members, Fe-silicalite and Ti-silicalite, show very interesting catalytic properties in partial oxidation reactions; ii) the properties of the purely siliceous structure (silicalite) where the heteroatoms are guested has been thoroughly investigated.
