Relationship between Structure and Internal Friction in Copt And Fepd Alloys

Abstract

It is known that atomic ordering can affect the anelastic and magnetic properties of metals and alloys. The effects of atomic and magnetic ordering in “as-quenched” equiatomic CoPt and FePd samples are presented as illustrative examples.
