Abstract
Contracted by the German Ministry of Defense, BGT (Bodenseewerk Gerctetechnik GmbH, �DC;berlingen) is responsible for the electro-optical sensor systems and the associated real-time signal processing within the (only) two German programs related to land mine detection. These two programs are MMSR (Mobiles Such- und R&#ooE4;umger&#ooE4;t, Mobile Ground Based Land Mine Detection and Clearing System) and AAMIS (Aufkl&#ooE4;rungs-Ausstattung Minensperren, Airborne Autonomous Land Mine Field Detection System.
