Abstract
We present the comparison of population synthesis predictions to the observations of the Galactic globular cluster (GC) 47 Tucanae. We show that the too large ages inferred for this and other GCs in previous work are due to a combination of uncertainties in the theoretical isochrones and stellar libraries currently in use in the literature.
