Abstract
Fluorescein angiography provides useful images of the retinal vessels in most instances, but choroidal vessel assessment may be hindered because of inherent properties of fluorescein (i.e., rapid difussion through the choriocapillaris and blockage by pigments like xanthophylle, melanin or hemoglobin).
