  • Chapter
Non-Relativistic Quantum Dynamics

Part of the book series: Mathematical Physics Studies ((MPST,volume 2))

Abstract

In Section 1.1 we give the definition and some elementary properties of a separable Hilbert space, with L2-spaces as examples. Section 1.2 contains the basic notions about linear operators and a characterization of isometric and unitary operators. Section 1.3 is devoted to a discussion of the Riemann integral of vector-valued and operator-valued functions.
