Abstract

We present results of numerical renormalization group calculations for an impurity Anderson model with a coupling to a local phonon mode. The calculations are then extended, by incorporating the self-consistency condition of dynamic mean field theory, to consider the behaviour of the infinite dimensional Holstein model.
