Abstract
We construct the instanton part of the prepotential of N = 2 super- symmetric field theories in 5 dimensions, with one compact dimension, via two methods. The first, following [1], gives an explicit form for SU(2). Whilst the second, following [4], results in a form for general gauge groups.
