Abstract
The concept of national security of Russia considers protection and enhancement of the environment in the national interest. Stable development of industries and enterprises managing fissible and radioactive materials requires versatile and purposeful activities in all main directions. However, up to the moment, there is a certain disproportion in the scales of the scientific and technological tasks to be solved and appearing ecological problems. The growth speed of ecological problems exceeds the speed of their solution. The situation is aggravated by the continuing accumulation of radioactive waste owing to decommissioning and utilization of the large number of spent nuclear objects [1]. One of the directions of interest is the removal of the accumulated damaged spent nuclear fuel from the emergency floating workshops.
