Abstract
By the beginning of 2002, 191 Russian Nuclear Submarines (NSs) were decommissioned. Part of them are stored afloat with/without fuel; other NSs are partly utilized and stored afloat in three-compartment units. The number and the actual status of the decommissioned Russian NSs are demonstrated in (Table 1).
