Abstract

The CETP has been a complex project, integrating a broad range of analyses into a comprehensive framework aimed at understanding electric sector planning and sustainability in China, and in particular in Shandong province. This book has described the component methodologies and results of the individual CETP tasks. This chapter integrates the conclusions that can be drawn from the different tasks, and presents them in a structured way. These conclusions start with observations about the CETP structure, and proceed to demand forecasting, the environmental, health and risk effects, and impacts, electric sector options and uncertainties, and recommendations.
