Abstract

Since the description of the genus Pseudomonas by Migula in 1894, the taxonomy of Pseudomonas has been thoroughly revised on several occasions. It is due mainly to the broad and vague characteristics of the definition of this genus which encompassed very heterogenic bacteria.
