Abstract

The results, studied in the preceding chapters, can be successfully applied to the solution of many important problems of mathematical physics.

The results of this chapter which refer to the case of a single contour (§ 118, 119) were obtained by the Author in his paper [2], where, however, only the problem A1 was solved (§ 118).

The generalization to the case of an arbitrary number of contours (§ 120) was given by N. I. Vekua [1]; cf. also the Author’s paper [2].
