Abstract

In this chapter (§§ 116, 117) the terminology and notation of § 85 will be used. In particular, L will be a simple smooth contour, d1, d2, …, dT some fixed points on L, taken ia the same order in which they are encountered on traversing L in the positive direction, and c1 c2,…, cr will be the same points, taken in any order. The classes of functions H*, He*, Hd, given on L, will refer to these points.
