Abstract

Our diagnostic possibilities in examination of orbital lesions have been considerably enlarged by ultrasonography and computerized tomography. In a high percentage of those of our patients who have been examined with both methods, retrobulbar lesions could be verified. In a number of cases, however, we have been misled by the outcome of one of these methods. This may be illustrated by the following clinical examples.
