Abstract

The radiological diagnosis of orbital fractures in ophthalmological practice is different from the current traumatic maxillo-facial procedure. There are two types of patient. First, a patient who consults an ophthalmologist for a recent orbital trauma in most cases he has had a light trauma and presently suffers a more important maxillo-facial traumatism (with or without polytraumatism): he is brought to an Emergency Unit (reanimation, neurosurgery ...) because prognosis is above all vital.
